CMS Russia tax experts Dominique Tissot and Maria Kabanova will speak about recent changes in the taxation rules applicable to the intragroup financing introduced to the Russian law in the end of FY 2020, in certain cases having the retroactive effect, thus applicable from 1 January 2020. 

These changes are, to a large extent, driven by the extensive need of financing faced by Russian companies, as well as material FOREX fluctuations in FY 2020.

The webinar will also cover the latest clarifications of the Russian tax authorities published at the end of FY 2020 and the beginning of FY 2021, specifying the application of the tax changes introduced last year as well as e-services taxation issues.

Finally, we will provide an update on the DTT amendment procedures initiated last year as well as other important changes to international taxation rules due to MLI coming into force in Russia.
