On 18 September 2014 the AEB Intellectual Property Committee held a general meeting to discuss latest legislation changes and their implementation, as well as to elect a new Deputy Chairman. Anton Bankovskiy, PhD in Law, Counsel and Head of Intellectual Property practice of CMS Russia has been appointed for this role.
The Intellectual Property Committee aims to enhance cooperation with the Russian authorities in order to improve the investment climate for the interests of European businesses by providing open discussions and by sharing expertise among leading figures, as well as by providing the European business community with up-to-date information in this field. We are proud to have obtained a recognised membership status, and of this opportunity to continue contributing to Russian-European collaboration.
