CMS has advised Sberbank Group on the acquisition of a 79.6% stake in DocDoc.ru. The remaining shares will remain with the company’s founder and its key management.
The acquisition of DocDoc.ru is a significant step in the implementation of Sberbank’s strategy of building a “digital ecosystem” for its customers.
CMS’ team was led by corporate partner Vladimir Zenin who was supported, among others, by counsel Gregor Kennedy and associates, Vladimir Muzhchinin and Vladislav Eltovskiy.
Vladimir Zenin commented: “We are proud to have advised Sberbank on such a strategic move in one of the most dynamic sectors in Russia. The deal required a combination of strong corporate and IP expertise and showed the versatility of our platform and our ability to meet clients’ expectations at the highest standard.”
